Life Groups @ Crossroads - Spring 2012

Acts 2:42 "They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

 

We know that Life shouldn't be lived out alone -  life should be live out together! Life Groups are Crossroads groups of 12 people or so, that get together each week in a convenient Long Island location to learn about the Bible, have fun and meet new people.

The early church ate together, prayed together, served together, provided for each other’s needs, and probably played and had fun together (Acts 2). In Sunday morning worship services, all of these things cannot be accomplished.

At Crossroads, we strive to build a community of believers that embodies the spirit of the early church. Life Groups are integral to all that we do at Crossroads. As our church grows larger on Sunday, we grow smaller during the week.

Groups are a great way to meet new friends, grow in your relationship with God and make a difference. We encourage everyone to be involved in a Life Groups on a weekly basis during a semester, and to participate and invite your friends to our fun activities and community projects that you are interested in. It is our goal as a church that through these groups, we would make new friends, reach our community, and grow spiritually.

At Crossroads, we offer Life Groups every semester with a nice break in between so you don't have to sign your life away. Since the idea of a small group can seem a little intimidating, we wanted to give you a glimpse of the things you can expect:
      
      A place to make new friends and create community       
      A relaxed atmosphere            
      Refreshments
      Dive in approach with an  investigative Bible discussion
      Be yourself - feel free to talk or listen - you won't be singled out!

Life Group Schedule

Fall Semester: Fall Groups run from September - December.
Spring Semester: Spring Groups run from February - April.
Summer Semester: Summer Groups run from June - July.

Beginning on January 1, 2012 you can sign up filling out both sides of your connection card and place it in the offering plate when it is received at a Sunday service.

You Sign up today and reserve a spot by registering below on our online registration. Spring 2012 Groups begin on Wednesday February 1st.
